How to Use Zone Lighting in A New F-150

The new Ford F-150 models can be outfitted with the optional Zone Lighting feature, providing exterior lighting control from the convenience of your smartphone via FordPass Connect and the FordPass™ App. This convenience feature is available on the following trims:

STX- available
XLT- standard
Lariat- standard
Tremor®- standard
King Ranch®- standard
Platinum®- standard
Raptor®- standard

How To Use Ford Zone Lighting

Controlling Zone Lighting is super convenient for Ford truck drivers, which is why Tom Boland Ford, Inc. has compiled this easy-to-use guide below!

Start your Ford and make sure it’s in Park.
Open the FordPass™ App and login.
Navigate to and tap Vehicle.
Tap Zone Lighting.
At this point, you can active and deactivate zones one by one or simultaneously, and while your Ford is both running and off.

It’s important to remember that if your Ford isn’t running when you activate the Zone Lighting feature, it will shut off automatically after a period of inactivity. However, FordPass™ will warn you before the feature times out. When and if the feature times out, simply start your truck to reactivate lighting or turn it off to deactivate.
